Yard Waste in Pool Lot Must be in Compostable Bags!
Waste Management does not take yard waste unless it is in paper bags or in compostable bags (notable by their green color and usually with printing that states they are compostable). Additionally, long branches will not be picked up. Bundles must be shorter than four-feet. Stumps are not allowed and need to be hauled to the dump or ground up, then placed in paper bags.
If the rules for yard waste are not followed, the Master Board may no longer offer this service and it will be up to each individual homeowner to figure out how to dispose of yard waste on their own. It is illegal to place yard waste in the regular garbage.
